Achilles recovery tracker

Track your Achilles tendon recovery on one timeline.

An Achilles rupture recovery can run for a year or more. Achilles Journey is a personal tracker that lets you document what happens along the way — daily check-ins, milestones, measurements and appointments — and see your whole Achilles recovery timeline in one calm place.

Why a long recovery is hard to remember

Over many months, the small changes blur together. It’s easy to forget when you moved out of a cast, when swelling eased, or how a stretch of weeks actually felt by the time your next appointment comes around. Documenting your Achilles recovery as you go turns scattered memories into a record you can actually look back on — for yourself, and for the conversations with your treating team.

What you can record

Daily check-insHow the day felt — pain, stiffness, swelling, sensations and a short note. Quick, and never scored against a target.
Milestones & momentsThe changes that mattered: a protection change, physiotherapy starting, an appointment, a first confident step.
MeasurementsDated values like calf circumference or a clinician-supplied heel-rise measurement — stored, never interpreted as strength or clearance.
One personal timelineEverything you record, in order, laid over the general educational stages so you can see where you are in time.

Joining partway through? Backfill earlier dates

You don’t have to start on day one. Enter your injury date and you’ll be placed at the right point on the timeline, then add backdated check-ins to fill in earlier days — any date between your injury and today. You can’t check in for future dates, so the record stays honest.

Your personal timeline vs a generic protocol

Most recovery information online is a single, one-size-fits-all schedule. Achilles Journey keeps a general educational pathway for context, but the timeline you actually see is yours — built from what you recorded and when. If your recovery follows a different path, that’s normal; the app documents it rather than flagging it as a failure. And your clinician’s instructions always remain the authority for your care.

Achilles Journey is a personal recovery-tracking tool. It documents your recovery and offers educational context — it does not diagnose, prescribe, decide what you should do next, or replace your treating team. Read the medical boundary.
