How it works

Set it up once, then just check in.

Achilles Journey does the counting, staging and remembering, so you can focus on recovering. Here’s the whole flow — only the features that exist today.

01

Create your account and set the starting point

Tell us your injury date, side and treatment (surgical or non-surgical). You’re placed on the timeline straight away — even if you’re joining weeks or months in.

02

Record short check-ins

In about thirty seconds you can note how the day felt — pain, stiffness, swelling, sensations and a short note. There’s nothing to score or get right.

03

Add milestones, appointments and changes

Mark the moments that matter: a protection change, physiotherapy starting, an appointment, a personal first. You can record clinician instructions separately, too.

04

See everything on one timeline

Your check-ins, milestones and recorded events sit together on a single personal timeline, layered over the general educational stages for context.

05

Review patterns over time

Look back across days and weeks to see how things have trended. It’s descriptive — a record of your experience, not a clinical assessment.

06

Share progress when you want to

Generate a private, privacy-safe progress card to share an update if you choose. It never includes your scores, notes or clinician details.

Where the educational timeline fits

Alongside your personal record, Achilles Journey shows a general educational pathway for a typical, uncomplicated recovery. It’s context, not a prediction or a deadline. Your recorded clinician instructions always take precedence, and a plan that looks different from the general pathway doesn’t mean anything is wrong. Read more in the protocol model and the FAQ on how the timeline works.

Achilles Journey is a personal recovery-tracking tool. It documents your recovery and offers educational context — it does not diagnose, prescribe, decide what you should do next, or replace your treating team. Read the medical boundary.
